Thoughts on Leaving a BD?

Hello, I know a lot of people will have a lot of negative feedback and I understand. My beardie is my baby and he is the best pet ever! My problem is, I am going away next week and am leaving Friday Morning and will not be returning until Monday Afternoon. My Beardie is just over a year old. I have no one to watch him. His lights are on a timer and I have central air.

Will he be okay? I am super worried about him, but I just moved to where I live a few months ago and I do not know anyone or have anyone who can came feed or check on him. I will say, when i moved, it was a two day 18 hour drive and I had him riding shotgun! It was a bit rough at first for him and despite the stress we made it. He has now settled into his new home very well.

I have read a lot of mixed answers. I really just want to know if he will be ok. I know that leaving him is not ideal. There are not bearded dragon hotels around like they have for other pets. So i am kind of in a bind and very concerned.

Your thoughts and experience are much appreciated!

Thank you
-Tybearius' mom!

He's over a year old so he doesn't need to eat every day. Feed him bugs Friday morning before you leave and make him a big salad with just leafy greens no veggies that will get real hard when they dry up. Make sure that your lights are attached to your tank good so that if they fall, they won't fall on the floor. Keep your central air comfortable like 74-75 degrees so the tank doesn't get too cold at night.

Before we had people willing to take care of our babies, we used to leave for no longer than 2 full days. The day we left we fed bugs real good and the day we got back the first thing we did was feed them again and clean the tanks out and give baths if needed. I warn about the lights because we came home once just as one of our domes had fallen and landed on the floor. If we didn't get home when we did, we would have lost everything.
