I own many reptiles. But I haver never tried a bearded dragon. I have been researching them for many months now and I have a great place for them! :) I want to start off with a pair and breed them. Is this a good idea? And I have a lot of experience! Lol i am the owner of a trained columbian tegu! And in case you didn't know the are extremely hard to tame down! So I am not to much of a beginner! Lol if you think I should get a pair and breed them what are the best types?? Thanks!

Yes a 40 gal will do the job. The Breeder style, better than the long. Bigger is always better, more floor area is more important than height.

I wholeheartedly agree with Germ in that it would be best to start with a single dragon rather than jump into breeding....there is so much you have to learn about these creatures and even more that they will teach you about their species and allowing yourself to concentrate on just one will allow you not to miss out on any of their lessons:) Learn and observe and later you will be a better breeder for it!
Enjoy
