Anybody here have any experience with cockatiels? I am probably going to get one within the month... probably going to be an albino. So if you have any references to forums or sites for cockatiels, or just know something about them, i could use some info.

Prepare yourself for a cacophony of noise ! These little guys are loud and demand attention vocally.

They are also quite high maintenance when chicks. If they are not trained, but kept cage bound, they can become aggressive male or female... Also, as in with dragons.. only one is needed.. you are the companion.

They are highly curious, and intelligent enough to want and need lots of stimulation. A good sized cage, say 2' by 3' or larger is good.

Tiels can be very nice , and wonderful avian companions.
Hope this helps out !

A breeder would be your best bet. Check all references when looking at a breeder.
