Bath time has always been a struggle with Dexter and since she doesn't want to eat her greens or drink water from a bowl or dropper, we've been doing more frequent baths. Yesterday I put a resin branch in the tub and she LOVED that idea! She held on to it for awhile but then went and swam around and came back to it. I also discovered that she loves the shower sprayer! She actually follows the spray of water around the tub and she gets into it and closes her eyes and just sits there with the water spraying on her.

Hopefully this isn't a fluke and she will always like this. Maybe this will help her get over her fear of all water and she will start drinking it too.

lol. Whenever I go take a shower, sometimes I'll take Allie with me and she'll sit in her tub, go to the bathroom, and out she comes. :D I'll set her in the shower with me and she'll go straight to the shower spray and sit there, trying to swim. Then she'll go under me and sprawl out. :p

I'm glad Dexter loves her shower head experience. They probably think it's raining or something. Allie doesn't like standing water either. Gotta to splash her and play with the water to get her to swim. Then she'll get me back by splashing water back at me. :D

I will run water from the kitchen faucet and put Spike under it! He loves it! I try to get him to 'drink' some water but he never does. I am just hoping that it seeps into his mouth!

It really helped to bring that resin branch into her bath with her, she feels more secure. She will stand on it for awhile and then jump into the water and sit under the spray and swim for a bit, it's really cute.

Pat B, Dexter doesn't "drink" water either. I read so many stories where people say their dragon will lick the water while in a bath or they will lick a drop off their nose, Dexter will have none of that!
