I just want to say this as advice for new dragon owners
I just switched out two stick thermometers for one digital thermometer. If you have a stick, discard it immediately.
I was shocked to find it was off by 7-20* F the majority of the time. Wow!
Definitely worth the purchase.

One would think they would come up with a better temp gauge on vivs and infant bath tubs. The same type of stick on was on my son's baby bath tub. Can you imagine if we had it 20 degrees too hot? Yikes!

The same holds true for beardie's heat. It needs to be just right for them to thrive.
