Well At the Expo I walked and walked and walked. Looked and looked, then talked and talked. Not many booths with beardies, but a few. Some prices were up there and some were low. Then I found it. I found a loving awesome guy I liked. He was to say he is 7 weeks old. And had a blue dot on him, and the guy said he is a Male. IDK how he sexed him at such a young age but hey. Anyway I got him for 35 bucks and said I wanted another. He said it would be ok to put in the same tank as long as apocolypse isnt double his size. Well I think he is but they so far getting along. I checked his tail, and all his fingers n claws, they were all there. He was the nicest one out of the Batch and I love his color tooo. Well Say hello to the New lil guy!!

Nice! I would get another tank though and separate them ASAP. There's too much of a chance of bullying and someone getting hurt. Especially with the size difference.

The Breeder said it would be ok, no problems. I showed him photos of Apocolypse before I made the purchase, he said it would be fine. I mean they had like 6 in one bin, And they all seemed fine.

The liil new guy was jumpy happy and all. Plus I loved his colors. I had him in a lil tubbywear for ride home, he was alert and moving. But since I put him in the tank, he has just sat in 1 spot just laying there. Has not moved at all. Im getting worried something is wrong

Well he probably has a bit of relocation stress, that and the fact that he has a new tank mate. You need to give him some time. Keep an eye on them though, any sign of aggression and you should separate. Might not even be visible aggression, if one eats more than the other is a sign of bullying.

For sure Patsy, I am watching them as we speak since I put them in the tank, Apoc went up to him a few times and licked him. Sat next to him and basked with him. I also fed Apoc out of the tank. I have 1000 crickets for the lil guy. Soo Just hope he warms up faster than Apoc did

I'm with Patsy I would seperate them! I've heard a lot of people say they had 2 together and they were fine and then just one day out of the blue one would attack the other! Or one will quit eating and hide a lot! If u are going to keep them together I would monitor them really close! Good luck! They are both very cute:)

Ohh For sure Im gunna keep an eye on them. I really dont wanna buy another setup and everything, Plus dont really have the room right now. I think they will be fine. I will do seperate feedings and all that. Plus there is plenty of salad for the both of them. I mean everywhere you go to buy these critters, they are together. Some with a couple some with 6 n more. So I dont see why I would have an issue.

The choice of coarse it is totally up to you. Cohabitation is generally considered to be disadvantageous for one of the beardies. Some keep them together and have no problems. Some keep them together and lose one. It seems to be totally dependent on the personality of the dominant one. Bad experiences can be a hard teacher. He's adorable.

Yeah I hear yah Budd. I guess I will find out. Only time I can't keep an eye out is while I'm at work 7 to 3. So I hope they r fine. I put a new drift wood in and apocalypse loved it. And found a new place to sleep. The Lil guy buried himself under the paper. Yesturday apocalypse seemed fine with the new guy. I had them both out the tank staring at each other for about 15 mins they both didn't move so. I guess I'm so far lucky

Also I wanna know how he sexed him at such an early age??? He had a blue dot on him n we asked why. He said cuz he is a male. I'm praying that apocalypse is a female. Maybe they get along better and they breed. N then we have some babies hahaha.

Congrats! That is why I must avoid reptile shows.

LOL I love them, But this one let me down and was upsetting. I did get some goodies for the tank and a new bulb for cheap. But the amount of Reptiles was low. All snakes and Geckos...... I really was about to buy a chameleon but mother would kill me and dont have all that space in me room for another tank

I know its hard. My daughter just informed me she wants a snake for her 16th birthday. I have every available space taken for my reptiles in our warmer rooms in the winter. I did find one spot left so I guess we will be getting a snake next month.

Ehhh snakes... ehhhhhh Not a fan.. Buddy had the ball pythons years ago, they just creep me out and you dont know what they arethinking.

YUCK, I can't handle snakes. We were at a reptile store yesterday and the guy was in the back room getting me roaches and he had a bunch of bins and one had a sign in big letters that said do not open, snake will bite! I thought it was funny and creepy.
