The dont say what kind of screen they are using-- Zen's have stainless steel so you can set lights on the screen -- so I have emailed them to see what they are exactly using -- they also said this
With the first batch of enclosures, the coating on the screen can potentially melt causing discoloration which is purely cosmetic so we recommend using a 100w or less bulb or a fixture that can be mounted inside. We have used magnets or hooks with washers to hang lighting and heat fixtures from the screen top. This is purely a cosmetic issue and will be fixed in the next round of enclosures.

If your looking to purchase one I would wait till they get that fixed -- if you can --- depending on where you live in the North where its cold or South where its warm its going to matter w/ the wattage on the bulb --

Yep --- they have nice tanks -- this one is not a bad price but they need to get something done w/ the melting of the top -- Zen has the stainless screen and aluminum top edging --

I’m waiting on 5x2x2 from American plastics. Pvc on all sides except front glass. Just gonna attach all lighting from inside roof. Great looking enclosure but they have a 14 week wait. Good thing I ordered when my beardie was a baby.

Here is the reply on the screen from dubiaroaches.com
a static top is one that doesn't open, it isn't a top opening tank basically, and it is pretty fine but very sturdy.
