I just recently found out he is a she lol and yea she sheds her tail constantly.

The tail is around half the body length, so they do look pretty long (especially with babies). If her tail is shedding frequently, that means it's growing pretty fast. The rest of her body will catch up by the time she's full grown.

She's so adorable!! My baby's tail looked like that too, in comparison to his body ... they grow into it.
