Hi everyone!! New beardie owner here, I’ve been a little worried about my little guy’s tail. It’s very dark and kinda comes off to a point. I’m very worried about tail rot but I’m not sure if I should go to a vet since he’s had this since we’ve got him (about a month ago) thank you to anyone who can help.

It looks like it got nipped --- keep an eye on it take pics of it to see if the darkened part is moving up the tail --- if it is your gonna want to take him in to the vet --- you can take some unpasteurized honey like Manuka and use on the end of the tail -- if there is infection it will kill it - honey is a antibacterial that will kill it --- usually the ends will fall off if there is no infection but you must keep an eye on it to see if it starts creeping up the tail-- and PLEASE NO crickets left in the tank -- they will go straight for the tail --

Thank you so much!! Will keep on it daily to see if it’s moving up.
