I just bought my beardie from our local pet store. They had 4 crammed in a little 10 gallon tank setup! All of them had this SAME issue, the tail is over halfway missing! I felt sooo bad I wanted to buy them all but didn't have the money. But it don't seem to bother her at all, its not open, or it don't seem to hurt her, but I was wondering... what could it be from? I feel bad she will never have her tail!

Its a tail nip. Caused from housing them together, I would assume i guess it could be from anything but this is my bet.

I agree. Keep a close eye on it especially when he sheds making sure it sheds clean and doesn't accumulate retained shed which could lead to problems :) He's a cute little bugger! ;)

Another beardie definitely bit it off, he should be fine but I agree about making sure it sheds all the way, here's a pic of mine who had the same thing happen. Larger pet stores like pet Co and pet smart tend to buy from breeders who house too many together and they get aggressive :(

I actually had to have my beardies tail partially amputated so your lucky it seems to have healed good on its own

I bought my girl as an adult. She has part of her tail missing as well. She never had an issue with it. I would advise you to keep an eye on it when she sheds like others have advised!
