Hi. My beardie has a swollen toe. Does anyone have suggestions to what it may be?

Its a rope hammock that he loves! I discarded the reptile carpet a few montgs ago. View attachment 26960
Its possible hes gotten his toe caught in it -- I would recommend getting him a fleece or cloth one -- try here

Make sure your UVB is a long tube fixture NOT a coil - its gonna haft to heal on its own -- your not leaving crickets in the tank correct -- I am pushing more the hammock than cricket tho as the culprit -- the reptile carpet can cause the same thing but w/ you getting rid of it it wouldnt be that --

I think that is a great idea, to change from rope to cloth. I dont understand how the crickets could be a culprit....?... he eats them right away, so i don’t think they are cause. Cheeto also leaps alot and i wonder if he broke his toe.

Crickets bite and can cause infection -- but I am thinking its the hammock
