Swollen Jaw on Gina

I was out of the country for 10 days and I had my mother in law watch my Gina. When I returned I noticed her lower jaw was swelled and her body was puffy. I was definitely concerned especially when I read numerous possible issues from MBD to possible allergies, poor lighting and lack of vitamins. I'm happy to report that after I bathed her, upped her calcium intake and through cleaning that her swelling is gone. I also noticed 3 eggs during my cleaning so I wonder if this was the reason for the swelling. Odd because she laid eggs about 3 weeks ago.

Hmmm, I got nothing on this. Glad that she's doing better. Females that have laid eggs or about to lay eggs need lots of calcium so upping her calcium was a good idea. I would just keep an eye on her and make sure all her lights and heat are in order.

Yes. Thank you for the advice. I checked the lights along with the heat and all looks to be well. She has a voracious appetite so she's ok when it comes to the eating.
