Swollen hand

Hey guys, in the anxiety of waiting just wanted to write this and see if anybody has had a similar issue. Got my beardie Athena back in June she’s fully grown maybe year and a half 2 years old? She was being being rehomed so I’m not sure where she came from but ever since I got her she’s been a normal happy beardie. Noticed last week her hand was pretty swollen and it got worse from there (first pics). Finally got an appointment and brought her to the vet yesterday morning said everything with her enclosure and care has been right they’d do bloodwork and go from there. It should come back tomorrow but I feel like it’s just getting worse this last pic is from about an hour ago. Hoping for the best here

Please go over the UVB your using --- do you have a hammock in the tank? Are they testing for uric acid levels? Its possible its gout but we need to rule out the UVB and the hammock first

She’s got a 24” reptisun t8 uvb 10 vet said that doesn’t seem to be the issue. They took a blood sample said it’s not enough to run every test they’d like to though so I believe it was Uric acid and infection they’re testing for I’ll get the results hopefully by end of today and If nothing she’ll need more blood taken. Also no hammock just a bridge she liked to climb up but Ive taken it out for the meantime until this is all figured out

ok so the UVB being a T 8 please make sure it is not obstructed --- no screen please they are not strong enough to go thru screen - and the distance for a T 8 should be 6-8 inches directly above the basking decor piece -- ok if you can get a copy of those blood test --
