So very rarely I'll let the tub fill up a little and let ody swim around....he loves the shower but since the water never gets very high he tries to swim but it's not deep enough....

Any who today we had a swim time after bath. He had a ton of fun....had my arm down for a ramp when he wanted and also a wood log for holding onto. So he'd swim swim then take a break either on me or the log....then jump back in and swim some more.

Now he's tuckered out on his basking log.

Here's some pics since it's been a while.

He's so orange!

Yeah he's showing off his colors in these pics....it's incredible because before he goes in the bath and he knows what's going on...he turns almost brownish....then he gets in the water has fun and brightens up so much....he's a little tangerine....

Lucky you, neither of mine likes the water except to drink a little. I bought a pump style mister today and will put it in the sun to warm it up and see if I can't give them a warm shower. Plan on getting a plastic tub to bathe them. Just trying things to see what they like best.

Both of mine love the water but my little male really really loves the water :) I like that they do as they both do their business in the bath..

Mine wanted nothing to do with a bath, but I'll find a way. I usually just wet him down with a spray bottle filled with spring water a couple/three times a day. He tolerates it but lets me know when enough is enough.

It just takes time just go slow and start off with just having the water running and get him wet, and move towards having more water in until he's more comfortable. Be careful with the spray bottle while in the tank as it can raise the humidity too much.

I keep a water dish in there, as well. I've only seen him sitting in it once and it was his choice...lol. He's run through it a few times to get to his feeder bugs, too. The enclosure is pretty airy and the humidity levels stay around 38-43% during the day and up to 50% at night. There are the potted succulents in there, also but they dont require frequent watering. His sheds have been coming off nicely with the misting and he usually has a drink at the same time.
