So our beardie, Bill, took his first trip to the vet the other day. Came home with instructions to give liquid oral anti parasitic and calcium daily, plus an antibiotic injection AND BOY DOES HE HATE ALL OF IT! It was the first time his beard ever turned black! Does anyone have any tips on how I can make giving his meds easier on both of us? I’m pretty sure he hates my guts right now.

sadly not so much my girl had to have both of them too and she did take them ok thankfully. the ony tips i can give you for oral meds is to wrap him up in a blanket like a little cute extra angry burrito, it will make him squirm less and hopefully take his meds easier. For the injections, all I can think of his have someone hold down on the front part of his body, but of course don't apply too much pressure if you do that. and try not to do it too close to his spin I find that, that area is more sensitive.
