In another post, i was posting in the topic of supplements and MDB got brought up and that reminds me i was gonna ask for some help on creating a supplement schedule :) I don't want to be giving the wrong amount or anything to my baby. Currently, i have a Multivitamin and Calcium plus D3 by exo terra. I don't know how much calcium+D3 and Multivitamin to be giving and how much per week? Can someone possibly make me a monday thru sunday schedule? ANd how much of each? It would be greatly appreciated!

example ( RANDOM )
Monday-Calcium=D3, 1/8 teaspoon

Avoid multivitamins that have pure vitamin A (beta carotene is fine), because it can lead to vitamin toxicity.
In addition to calcium with D3, you'll also need plain calcium.

An easy schedule for a baby beardie is:

Monday: calcium
Tuesday: calcium
Wednesday: calcium with D3
Thursday: calcium
Friday: calcium with D3
Saturday: Multivitamin
Sunday: Multivitamin

For a juvenile, the same schedule can be used. If you want to, you can skip one of the calcium days.

Adults don't need as much calcium and can have calcium dusted 3-4 times a week, D3 once or twice a week, and a multivitamin once a week.

Calcium D 3 5 x per week once per feeding-- vitamins w/ beta carotene- 2 x per week once per feeding-- dust in a disposable salad container shake them so they are lightly dusted they do not need to look like a powdered donut- for crickets use a Ziploc bag- when they get to be 1 yr old the D3 needs to be cut back to 2 x per week and regular calcium w/ No phosphorus given

So once per feeding means like one bug? I hand feed my baby girl one at a time so i dust one dubia roach then the rest that feeding are normal?

Probably not. D3 is used to help the intestines absorb calcium from food. If your beardie is already getting proper UVB exposure, feeding D3 every day puts them at risk for D3 overdose. Too much D3 can lead to hypercalcemia, where there is too much calcium in the blood. During hypercalcemia, bones and soft tissues will be calcified, which can be fatal.

Can you please confirm for me about dusting roaches? I feed dubia - she wont eat anything else and is about 4-5 months.

I dust them always and feed 3 x per day - should I only be dusting them once ?

I am mixing the plain calc / calc w d3 / and vitamins up in about the daily schedule you listed above... except i always dust the roaches with some sort of calcium.

Thanks in advance for the clarification

Yes, you only need to dust them for one feeding a day. If you dust them multiple times in a single day you put her at risk for an overdose on vitamins or calcium.
