Good day. We have two beardies. One we have had since 2 months old and that one is our male. Falcor the male is currently 7.5 months old. The other was rescued from a bad situation at a pet store. She is smaller than Falcor but older as she has already dropped 19 infertile eggs.
Can we use a combination of BSFL and superworms as their staple? We were using crickets but the maintenance was difficult and where we live is hard to get them in the winter months. Kaida ( the female ) loves the BSFL. Falor however is our picky eater and some days he chooses not to eat. We offer a plethora of different veg each day and good hydration.

Super worms are a treat worm and should not be used as a staple - you can use discoid roaches or dubia silk worms as well for staple feeders - you dont want them hooked on super worms - horn worms meal worms are good for treats as well - wax I wouldnt use they are a very fatty worm and long term can cause liver issues

Thank you for your reply. We do use mealworms and hornworms as a treat. Roaches are not an option for us either due to where we live. In your opinion, the superworms are not nutritionally viable even if they are gut-loaded and dusted with calcium. I've seen many people say yes and many people say no so its very confusing.

Treat worms like super is like feeding candy to your dragon - why can you not get dubias?

Dubais roaches are illegal in Canada and I live in Northern cold climate where discord roaches are hard to get as shipping them in winter is tough.

You can get discoid roaches in Canada - your post office can hold them and you can go and pick them up -- I live in MN and my post office holds mine in the winter - you can start a colony and then you won't need to order them anymore- I have websites if you need them
