Supernormal Bedding Question

So thanks to Craigslist I ended up with 5 bottles of the ReptiCalcium supplement. I'm starting the breeding process here... would it be beneficial at all if I mix in some of the calcium to the bedding? Found a recipe online using wheat bran / potato starch / dry milk so I figured I would give it a shot... just don't know if adding the ReptiCalcium would be too much and cause any issues with the worms down the road. Thank you

Ha, just noticed thread title... autocorrect does not like superworms I guess. Sorry for the typo

Super worms are very easy to care for all they need is the wheat bran and feed them whatever you would feed your bearded dragons. Potatoes aren't a good food for beardies and dairy isn't good either so I would save the money and just use wheat bran. To make your supers nutritious just feed them the same salad items you would feed your beardie. I use the stems and ends that I don't feed to my beardie, the bugs love it and nothing goes to waste!

Also do those that breed or house their own worms... what's the die off rate on those in the bedding? I just have them in the wheat bran and give salads and carrots everyday but it seems one or two die off everyday

I use a mixture of cream of wheat and oatmeal as their bedding and feed them carrots and leftover greens that go uneaten.

The cream of wheat concerns me. Looking up natural ways to kill ants and cream of wheat was one of the options because supposedly they eat it and it expands in their stomach and kills them.

I havent seen this with the supers at all. I've heard many others use and recommend it with their supers as well. Maybe it's a thing that affects ants or similar insects? Different anatomy than that of a superworm.

I had never heard of that so i researched it and it looks like a old myth. Same with grits, corn meal, oat meal, etc. It's not exclusive to cream of wheat.
