So Odin had a stuck nose plug. Not really something he could get out unless he just huffed and puffed all day....and even then it's been there about a week....

Ended up helping him out by gently removing it for him, very difficult but it came out no problem.

But he's had enough of me apparently...he looked at me with a big black beard....turned around toward the foam background and just won't look at me now....lol....just staring into the foam rocks...it is almost bed time so he may be just getting ready to turn off for the night....but it was just funny how he looked at me and turned around....giving me the cold shoulder.

Had another terrible incident with Odin at the end of the week last week. He lost his toe nail on his long doodle toe...rear right.

There was a little tiny tiny bit of blood, I sanitized with diluted betadine (weak tea color) and am continuously covering with antibiotic ointment no pain relief....

No signs of red color, no swelling, or anything worrying looking....it looks like there's a tiny ity bity nail still there. Not sure if it will regrow...most people are saying no....he's normal still running around and eating, pooping , etc... not worried yet, however I am taking action to prevent anything like that happening again. His nails were too long and it got caught in a cloth. I have since put some flat rock for him to walk around on. He will not sit still to clip so I'll let him run them down.

Yeah, he was just going to bed....lol he cracks me up....doesn't care where he does things....just does them when he's good and ready....normally he's always sleeping on the hammock or cool side....but today it was 900 pm and he wasn't on the cool side so he turned to the wall and went down where he was....

I hate when people give you that definitive "NO the nail won't grow back". Dexter and Luci have both lost a few nails over the years and they have grown back. In fact Luci lost a nail right at the toe and I just checked on it and it's growing back. So maybe they don't always grow back but it is possible.

I didn't think my Dooku's nails were too bad until I just couldn't avoid all the scratches all over my hands. Every night since I've had him, I take him out before his lights out and put him on my shirt and he falls asleep on me, so last week I decided to give the nail clippers a try, I was pretty proud of myself by the end of it and now all the scratches on hands come from my poor sick chameleon, who I have to syringe feed his meds which he doesn't like at all.
