Welcome to the forum!! I would avoid anything that can be ingested.. Although your beardie is year+ they can still become impacted. Many woods are even poisionious to them. I would and I do use tile for my 2 and what you could get is slate that is all different textures so it would be good for them while walking around..
what I do is the entire tank is tile and on their sleeping areas I use repti carpet..

I absolutely agree with the tile. For less than $20 you can buy tile and pre-mixed grout and have an easy to clean, secure dragon floor. It's one of the better things I've learned here.

And, Welcome.

Sounds like you just need to get some tile that isn't slippery. Slate tile or unglazed ceramic tile would work. I use non adhesive shelf liner too, it's very easy to wipe clean. I also use repticarpet but have multiples so when I clean one I have one to put in the tank. I take it out and vacuum up all the loose bits then lay it in the shower and spray it with vinegar and water real good and scrub any stains out. Then rinse real good with hot water and roll it in a towel to get all the water out then let it drip dry or throw it in the dryer.

I really like the repti carpet. For me it seems the safest and easiest to clean .
