Stupid background!!

So when we got.Boris from hos previous owner there was a background on his viv. I didnt like it from the start mainly coz bits of it.cums off n stick to Boris when he climbs.on it plus it has bin put in very poorly theres gaps all at the top of it. So my problem as it stands- we got Boris and Diego out b4 my partner took Diego in the living room n i stayed in the hall with Boris so he was havin a run up n dwn the hall doin his usual head bobbing n i was cleanim out his viv n then i cud hear something in there. It took me a while to figure out but there was a cricket. Behind the background. I only knew coz i cud c its little anteni poppin up in one of the holes at the top of the viv. I tried to get it with tweezer but i cudnt. It was too close to bed time to try pull the background off but now theres a crik in the viv with him n the thing is we dnt feed them crix coz i wnt uave them in the house they get hoppers but i know his previous owner gave him them. So its bin in there a long while coz ive had him for month or so. So it could uave been nipping at him while he is asleep. He dnt have any marks on him anywhere. But im worring now quite a bit. Im gunna take the background out 2moz dnt think its gunna b very easy. But im not gunna.sleep at all to nite n to thinl how long its bin in there for.

That's why I took the back ground out of all of my tanks, including my frogs. The crickets love to get behind them and then impossible to get out. I've put tape on the top of my tanks to cover the holes where the wires go in so that there is never any escapees if they are ever able to make it up that high.

I would take the background out as soon as you can. If there aren't any marks on him I'm sure that he is fine. I wonder if it's still alive if it's been in there for a whole month.

Thank goodness I didn't put a background in Allie's tank when she was alive. I heard so many things going wrong with it. Crickets behind there.

I had problems when I first got my frogs, I would wonder why there were crickets walking around my floor and then I realized they were climbing the background and then crawling out the holes in the top of the tank. So when we got Dexter we nixed the background.

Allie loved to look outside through the two windows and one major window. She'd watch the birds, squirrels, and sky during the winter and have a fit when all the leaves would go away for fall.

I like having all 4 sides of the tanks open, I like being able to see them from all angles and I think they like to be able to see what's going on all around them.

They love to look down and around. Lol. Allie used to look down all the time. She often gave her 'Unimpressed' Look or 'I am the Queen!' Look.
