Stressed Out?

I've been taking my little guy out now that it's been about a week; he squirms but I hold him firm; not hard to squish; but just enough that he doesn't shoot out like a rocket.

I let him move between both of my hands and eventually he stops going bananas and sits still closes his eyes and relaxes.

He hasn't touched any of his vegetables since I got him; however he gobbles down the dubias like they were going out of style.

The enclosure temps are correct; and he has plenty of hides (even though he prefers to hang out on the wall.....)

I just want to make sure he doesn't have stress marks and is OK.

I also noticed the breeder marked him #2 -_-; poor guy.....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

He looks great! love the red! He sounds like a baby in all aspects.. Some get cranky when shedding but it doesn't sound like he's stressed they all have those chain link patterns on their bellies I've not found that they really mean anything in particular for mine.. Don't stress that he's not eating his veggies/greens as babies because they are growing like weeds they need the protein more.. Once they are older they will eat more just keep offering them... What I do is my feeder bin of dubia's get the same greens/veggies that I give Izzy and they eat them and she eats them :) so she gets the nutrition that way.

Thank you for your reply; I feel much better knowing that they all have the chain link patterns; Yes I throw some greens in the roach bin in the morning (Left overs from making his salads) I tear up some collard greens, some kale, and i shave little sheets of butternut squash for him to munch on; (Which he doesn't) then when I get home from work I remove the old veggies and repeat each day.

He always has fresh veggies available to him; I use a scientific water bottle for watering each day;

Thanks for taking a look and your input!

Sure thing! That's what we are here for!! It took Izzy a long time to eat her salads and even now she sometimes eats it sometimes she doesn't lol Some have beardies that flat out won't eat them lol I'm still trying to figure out what she likes I know she doesn't like pineapple :) she tasted it and rubbed her face on her log getting it off her lol

Lol, they are so much more personable than I imagined....going from snakes and turtles it's much more engaging.
