Ok before posting this i have been looking around and cant find the info i have been looking for. I am tring to find out what are stress marks. That way if Spazz gets them i will know it. He has been acting kinda finiki today so. I am just keeping an eye on him. He wouldnt go after a mealworm or a crix.

Stress marks are the pretty designs on your beardies belly that darken and lighten based on heat, stress... many other factors other than stress. Stress marks are always visible, more so when the BD is cooler and darker colored, stress plays a very small role.

Yes, they are inaccurately, commonly called stress marks. They are more noticeable on young BDs, part of the markings that are affected by many different things, temperature, mood, lighting, time of day & yes at times stress. They are a very normal part of the coloring that comes & goes, sometimes quite quickly, that is more prevalent in younger BDs & generally no cause for concern.

Being P'd off is not the only mood a BD gets ;) & is not the only reason for them, at times there is no particular reason, simply are more noticeable on some BDs. On some you will almost never see them, if ever, depends a lot on the their particular pigmentation. Just like some BDs will have much blacker beards when excited or threatened than others, just as excited or threatened, but just different BDs.
