Stress Marks

My friend told me Raiden has a lot of stress marks. Honestly, I have no idea how they get them, but I think I might have the reason why. When we adopted him, we of course introduced him to his viv that day, but that night we had to drive about 130 miles to our new place and I think the maybe the constant moving is what stressed him out (and of course the fact that we just adopted him)? I put up some cardboard and paper towels around his viv too, I was told it would help him out. Just wondering if there's anything else I can do to help.

Yeh its just moving sickness it can take up to a.couple of weeks for ur baby to settle. The same routine helps a lot. Cover 3 sides of the viv if it glass. Making sure temps r gud. Regular feeding time. N once ur.oittle 1 reoises that ur safe n there too look afyer ur then n not harm they the stress will go. Baths once a week at least bi aways also give my beardies a drink by hand just drip some water on its nose and it will lick it off n also mist each day aswel. Gradually build up the amoubt of out of viv n holding time. N dnt worry i no its a lot to take in but just take ur time to get to no ur beardie n im sure ul b the best of friends soon enough :)

Thanks, I've covered up all sides but one, i keep Leos on the other side of the glass, so I think all of them would probably freak out at each other. He's really friendly and easy to handle, I was able to take a bath for him without any problems. His stress marks seem to be fading too, but I'll make sure to keep watching them for awhile.

Yeah, the leo's might freak him out a bit since they are on different sleep schedules. Keep an eye out that they don't wake Raiden up. I keep whites tree frogs near my beardies and I always watch to make sure their nightly parties don't wake up the beardies. So far it's been the opposite, the frogs sometimes see the crickets and worms in the next tanks and they freak out trying to get over to get them!

If your refering to the marks, lines, circles on your beardies belly, they are called stress marks but don't mean that your beardie is stressed.........

Those are completely normal. They are called stress marks, but despite the name they don't really mean stress. They happen when a Bearded Dragon is cold, irritated, interested in something, and sometimes they just randomly show up just because. At any rate, they are nothing to be alarmed about. A dark Beard is the true sign of stress or upset, not these. These are just common markings, no worries.
