Hi!
I have had my beardie for a couple of years now and she seems totally fine, but since a while now her toe has started to malform I think? I can't think of any trauma that has happened to her and she doesn't seem to be in pain, but I've never seen such a weird toe? Does anyone know what this is?

I will have someone look at it and get back w/ you---- do you have a hammock in the tank ? Carpet?

Oh thank you so much! I don't, she has reptile safe wood blocks, a cave and the tank bedding is reptile sand. I can't really think of anything that could cause this

Ok the person I sent this too said this
The pics are fuzzy but looks like the nail was snagged. Adult beardies often have somewhat crippled looking toes and it's not a real problem. Your dragon's nails should be trimmed though , you can find tutorials on Youtube
I would also get rid of the sand it harbors bacteria which could lead to infections and impaction - you could get some textured NON adhesive shelf liner cut to the size of the tank clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50 --
As far as the nail I am not sure what she could of snagged it on either w/ no hammocks or carpet that seems to be the case most of the time --

Oh sorry about the pictures! Okay okay, so probably just a snagged nail. Don't know if I should cut this one since its so weirdly long and I'm not sure where her vein starts....
Oh seriously, is sand a bad idea?? I thought that was the most natural option- I'll look into it, thanks!
