Strange behaviour- should I go to the vet?

Hello everyone. My beardie, Mušu, has been behaving strangely the past 3ish weeks.

- He's been pooping a ridiculous amount (almost every day, even some days twice a day). At first, his poops were dry-ish, and I figured he was dehydrated (it's very dry where I live this season) so I gave him some extra baths and he was even drinking water (which he usually doesn't). Since then, his poops have been normal consistency, just smaller since he's been pooping so much.
- He's been head bobbing more often. He did it 3 times at me and once at my roommate. Before this time frame, I've only ever seen him headbob 3 times over the course of 2 years, and never at me.
- His beard has been periodically black. It will get dark (I'd day it's happened 3ish times/week), then I'll cuddle with him or give him a bath and then it will go away.
- He's had sooo much energy. He's free-roam, and he typically, he makes his rounds around the apartment and then goes back to his light for the rest of the day. During this time frame, he has been exploring until later in the afternoon. I even got him some coconut husks to dig in and he's actually using them. (Note- our apartment has been lizard-proofed and it's a very low chance that he got into something bad for him.)

Other than these odd behaviours, he's been fine. Eating normally, going to sleep at the same time, waking up at the same time, etc.

I'm not sure if I should be concerned, and I'd rather not go to the vet if I can avoid it (buget reasons). But if anyone insists, I'lll gladly take him.

You have a male dragon going thru his male hormones- you have described what hiccup has been doing since January which is normal - it's going into mating season - your dragon is fine
