Alright, I know they can't get it from humans. I know it's going around and I know no one's been sick in my house with a stomach virus. I know dogs and cats can get stomach viruses, so I don't see why he can't either.
It all started on Friday. We both got up that morning. Everything was normal. I gave him his plate of greens. He has been eating well. He had a raspberry cut up as a treat in the afternoon and 6 roaches. A few hours later, I went up to check on him and he was licking his lips. (Strange because he doesn't do that. So I picked him up and some 'raspberry tinged' liquid came out of his mouth. I thought it odd because he didn't ever have this before. I grabbed a bunch of paper towels, put them on my bed and held him downwards with my finger in his mouth, more liquid came out of his mouth. It poured out of his mouth. It was about a teaspoon full of it and it was in his pouch. It was all gone, and he crawled up on my chest and gave me the biggest hug. I fixed his basking spot and took a reading. It has not changed. It is 104. (I know, adults could use lower temps, but he's ok with it.) I kept an eye on him after that. He seems fine and back to normal.
After the draining, I checked all the way into his pouch. Saw nothing at all. No glottis obstruction or liquid. Just a lot of saliva. Then it cleared and dried out.
