We would all love to be able to help you – there's only so much that can be done without a hands on exam. Please let us know what happens

Pinworms? My Allie had pinworms once when she was alive. The vet had to prescribe Panacur. She was also sick with a bacterial infection so she had Panacur and Albon. The Panacur will get rid of the pinworms. Pinworms are very bad for him which is the reason he doesn't want to eat or bask. Allie was cold to the touch and couldn't keep herself warm.

After the Panacur, Allie pooped pinworms, a whole load of them. When he poops, does it really smell up his home and yours? That's a sign too.

Thanks for asking patsyb,he had a good day yesterday,he ate 4 super worms and green bean baby food on his own,and pooped good, today after warm soak and 30mins of sun he ate 3 crickets and 5 supers!! I went to work, leaving instructions for my husband to put his poo(if he pooped) in a Ziploc bag to take to vet..well he forgot and just cleaned it up! Men!! But im off tomorrow and hopefully he keeps improving and I can get a sample to vet:)

My beardie lulu had pinworms the vet gave me a dewormer . She's always been a healthy eater though.vet told me that if a beardie becomes ill for some reason it could lower there immunity to coccida I believe is what its called and the natural coccida can then multiply at such a fast rate. Which would cause them to not be able to get the nutrients from their food etc. Which can lead to their health decline. My vet gave me Albon and its 0.1 cc per 100 grams so lulu's dose was 0.3cc because she was about 300grams at the time. You might see if you can buy it over the counter. It kills pin worms, coccida, etc. Hope this helps!

Good to hear he's improving. But they have a habit of hiding their illnesses and sicknesses. So you have to be on top of his health. Hubby forgot. Maybe leave a note on the tank.. ;)

Good idea Noella! I told him and my daughter! I'm pretty sure from his signs that it is pinworm's,the specialist I took him to gave him meds to kill any parasites, guess the p-worms are different?

Pinworms are not that big of a deal unless another health issue arises and their numbers get out of control. It's been suggested that due to their high prevalence that they may actually help with nutritional uptake in young animals. Either way, it's a simple treatment, and likely one your animal already had if it was treated for parasites already.

He tested negative for pinworm's! Found out the water heater had small gas leak, his enclosure was right beside it,so gas was making him sick! Fixed it and moved him to other side of house in the family room..he has been eating like a pig and has gained back 25 grams since Fri before last yay! He's back to his loving crazy self:) I felt so bad,but I had no clue gas was leaking, thank goodness I got a tiny smell if it and had it checked, wasn't enough to hurt us,but enough to make Si sick..just glad he's ok:)
