Start of my boys dragon enclosure

Me and my son started on his dragon enclosure this past weekend. Went out today to order the track for the sliding glass doors. We were talking about going with the fiberglass reinforced plastic to line the cage. I had second thoughts about going with some tile for the bottom with the hopes of retaining some heat.

Looks great. In a wood enclosure I don't think you will have problems with heat retention regardless of material used for the flooring. Woods absorbs heat much faster and better than plastic or glass enclosures.

Looking really good! Sorry to hear about your Dad (lost both of my folks to Cancer)
Only thing I would like to mention is as babies they are good climbers but do take jumps and can get themselves hurt easily, and then as adults they fall hard..so making it safe to get up and down to the basking spot.

Thanks it has been a rough the past few days going from hope to no hope at all. My son and I have been working on this platform. It has been slow gowing

It looks really good. I agree with what Hdrydr31 said. That platform is going to look nice when it's done! We were at a show the other day and I saw those grapevine sorta hide things, I wanted to get one for Dolly but forgot to go back for it.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I know it's not easy but hopefully your bearded dragon and it's projects are a distraction from it all, at least for a little bit.

Great job. Looks good and definitely a good project for you and your boy. I'm sorry to hear about your father, I lost my mother to cancer so I understand it can be an uphill battle sometimes. Keep up the great work on the platform.
