Can anyone here shed some light on squash and beardies; cooked, raw, peeled? If cooked, how? So many beardie foods I can't seem to get in my small town, and our farmers market never has anything much past typical greens.
I can get squash, just do not know how to prepare it for Priscilla?

Yep you can cook it if you want or you can just shred it up

Haha, I feel silly buuuut...
What does blanching mean?
I always tried feeding Bayne raw squash, but maybe he would like it if it were cooked.

Simply cooking it in boiling water. Slice it up and toss it in for a couple of mins then drain and cool in ice water. Chop it up bite-sized to serve to your beardie.
