Spike is in full blown shed

should i soak him of just leave him alone i has only had him for like a month and this is the second time he has shed but the first time didnt look like this at all lol poor thing this morning i seen him scratchingon his log and like going crazy came back in and this is what i found

If you give the little fella a warm bath it will loosen the shed and make him feel better. If he isn't used to being picked up....pick him up from the front so he can see you coming.

oh he is ok with being picked up and thats why i asked about soaking him when i first seen it i was a little freaked out but i soaked him with my mister but i will give him a bath

Must feel a lot better instead of the whole body shed. Mine did that twice and all she did was scratch herself on my fingers and me. She shed one of her eyes recently and closed her eye and used my knuckle to rub her skin off around her eye and her eye lid. For a minute though, I thought she was headbanging.
