Spider in locust box

A few months ago I saw a large spider crawl out of the box of locusts I put in my beardie's viv. I emptied out the whole vivarium to try and remove it but never found it. I know it isn't in the vivarium but now I'm not completely sure it was there and maybe it was just a locust looking like a spider. Has anyone else had experiences with finding other insects in their food?

If you order online sometimes you get a "cleaner" bug. I had ants in my crickets once and had to throw away all my crickets and treat the area for ants. Luckily I didn't have a whole lot of crickets at the time.

Be careful with outside bugs though in your tank. Some spiders are poisonous, you don't want your beardie eating them.

Ive had spiders mixed in with crickets before. Never had the issue with dubias. Try discountdubias.com
