Well Spazz is about to shed agin and my gf has taken a bunch of pics so i said lets give you all a view. plus he is in a norm style tank now and it is working out so much better. Temps are great and everything. So here are the pics...

He is a cutie. It appears to me, that he may have suffered a very slight tail nip prior to you acquiring him. It just looks to be a little thicker than most at the tip.

Yes, that is generally what happens as the old skin dies, with the new skin underneath.

Oh thank you so much for responding so quickly, Germ! I know I have posted a few things about shedding already but now he has turned a slight gray and I was concerned he may be sick, so I am so relieved to hear that news!!! I really need to calm down a bit, I worry SO much!!! I have learned so much from this website, I am so thankful I can be a part of it and thankful for everyone that helps me out!! I love it!!!:D

That cricket looks HUGE! LOL. I'm afraid to give my Rocky crix that big... I usually stick to half inch or less. Can they handle adult size crickets when they are juvies?

That's what I thought. And thankfully he just shed so now I am not worried! I can only imagine what I will be like if I ever have a REAL baby!! I'm gonna be nuts worrying myself to death! LOL;)

I do not think they can eat adult crickets when they are that young! Adult crickets as I am sure you know can get pretty big! I would stick with the size you are using. In my opinion its better to be safe than sorry.:)

they are not that big. Only look big lol....we get small to med crix....when we feed them mealiworms, for Rid we chop them in half, Spazz eats them whole. Phx worms Rid eats small, a few med, while Spazz eats Med....
