Hi community!

Today the vet prescribed new treatment for my bearded dragon, and what become confusing when I came home is amount of the solution.
Bearded dragon is really dehydrated along with other problems he have.
We need to inject 6 ml of the "Sodium chloride 0.9%"(or NaCl) two times at day, five days long.

He is about 4-5 years old, weight is 410 grams.

Does it sound normal to take 6 ml at one time (3ml in one leg, 3ml in another)?

Sorry for any grammar mistakes, I'm not a native speaker.

Here is someone who advised based on their experience

If the dragon is over 400 grams it may not be as dehydrated as they think. Are there pics ? Is the dragon active at all, eating at all ? I personally would avoid using needles for any type of treatment unless it was basically at the stage where it can't or won't take oral fluids. I would much rather use a feeding syringe with a bit of some grape or strawberry juice [ just a few drops ] mixed with water and let the dragon drink on it's own, they usually will if you're patient. Even a tiny bit of raw honey mixed with water or Pedialyte. Once they start drinking you can usually rehydrate them in a couple of days. That's just my opinion + experience.
Please post pics of the dragon so I can forward them on
