I'm looking down her throat and her tongue looks normal size to me. How is she doing? Only 4 more days to go! I bet you have never been so excited to go to a doctor appointment! Lol

She has been doing great thank you for asking. We have been counting down the days lol. Her tongue is completely back to normal so I'm not sure what happened there? But I'm glad it's looking better. I did notice she seems to have what appears to be plaque on some of her teeth, not sure if that's normal or what?

For sure keep us posted on the vet appt..their teeth should be nice and white...glad her tongue has returned to normal... love when they gap!! that's how I know their at a "oh that feels good" temp

I will be sure to point out the "plaque" to the vet as well. I thought she seemed awful young to have any thing like that on her teeth

Are you sure it's not leftover food on her teeth? I know Wally had a piece of dubia on his chin for a day and I thought omg he's got black fungus!! Lol

Awwww how sweet! Spyra is a cutie pie! Don't you just want to hug and kiss her? I do and she's not even mine!

Sprya and Wally in a long distance love affair! Shes trying to tempt him with a calci worm to come and see her!

He's grumpy right now cuz he's in a full body shed. He's working on getting the skin off his head and spikes around his face and he's ramming his head and face all over everything in his enclosure. I soaked him in the bath tonight but it's hard to get his face really wet. He bearded at me for the first time tonight and stared at me like why are you doing this to me, can't we just go and cuddle… please?

Haha, Spyra literally just came out of a shed and I couldn't tell you how many times she decided to show me her beard. So welcome to the club lol. They get so moody during that period. We call her "Ms. Puff" while shes shedding because she will even flare up at her insects.
She is definitely trying to work her magic and bribe Wally. She knows the way to a mans heart is through his stomach lol

Did it scare you the first time she bearded? It kinda scared me! It took me about 5 minutes to get him out of the water. I was scared to pick him up! Lol but as soon as I did pick him up he climbed right up into my hand like it's about time you get me out of this (blank) water!! Lol

That's true! A mans heart is his stomach!

At first it did but I just kept rubbing her head and baby talking her until she stopped. Now I pay her no mind lol. I try to respect her when she's upset but I also show her I'm not scared. I know she's just trying to look like a scary dinosaur but she's really a sweetheart.
