My sister had a Puffalump growing up. 3 years ago she threw him away because she said she needed to grow up and he was falling apart. For the past 3 years she has said how she misses him and throwing him away was the worst thing she could have ever done. She was telling her boyfriend about him and got a little teary. I am great at finding things on the internet and found a Puffalump forum where someone said they had a pink one they would be willing to part with. I email them for pictures and it was the same animal and color she had growing up. So I bought it for her with the help of my mom. I can not believe we paid so much for a stuffed animal but I know it will make my sister light up. I have mine from when I was a kid, he is blue, I am going to sell him on ebay since I know how much people are willing to pay so I can pay for hers. Those stuffed animals are going for $250-500. When my mom got them for us in 1986 she thinks she only paid $15 for them brand new. Here is what her Lumpy looked like (the name he got somewhere along the way b/c he was just a pink lumpy thing)

Oh, that is very sweet! And even sweeter that you are willing to sell yours to help pay for hers.

I did kind of the same thing for my brother a few years ago. He used to have a Big Trax when we were growing up, and he loved that thing. Of course something happened to it along the way, and he didnt have it anymore. He had been talking about how much he missed it, and how he would love to have one again. I looked and looked and finally found one on Ebay for him. Paid a lot for it, but it made him feel good, and made me happy to do it for him.

I don't care anything about mine, but the money I get for it would be nice for my pocket...it still looks brand new. I never even touched the thing. My mom has had it put away in a trash bag for over 20 years. I offered to give her mine a looooong time ago, when her Lumpy was still alive. I know it will not be the same as the original seeing how this one does not have any holes and has a shape other then a pancake but I know she will love it. I am calling it Lumpy 2.0.
