I had to do it with the title with the friends reference lol. My dragon Sammy smells. Her tank has tile. I clean up poops right as they happen. I work from home so nothing sits for more than 30 minutes to an hour. Typically I see it happen and so it’s immediate. She does not walk through it. Once I clean it, I spray the tile with reptile terrarium cleaner. I’ve also tried vinegar. But she really smells! What could be causing this? Do they just stink as they get older? I clean her tank thoroughly once a week and bathe her in just water once a week. I was reading to try baby shampoo? Is that for real? And if the smell continues, possibly a fungal infection? She has no sign of anything and is her usual self so would like to say it’s nothing serious. Am I the only one?

Parasites --- please get a fecal done --- if it is so bad its driving you from the room it could be parasites--- is the poop runny any decrease in appetite ? what are you feeding? I would mix the vinegar/ water 50/50 and the smell of vinegar wont be so bad and it usually diminishes pretty fast-- if you go the fecal route DO NOT let them do a enema ---- wait for them to poop scoop w/ a paper towel place in ziploc bag and put in fridge if you cant get in in the right away-- see if the vets office will do a fecal w/ out a actual office visit ---- www.arav.org to help find a reptile vet

Hi Sadie. Thank you for the reply. The poop smells the same as always and just a normal smell and form is solid with white urate. I mean more that she herself smells. Like her body just smells. But she does not run through the poop and her tank is always clean.

That would be great, thank you. Still going to take her to the vet. Just thought it was odd she is so stinky as she gets older. So the thing I read about baby shampoo? Is that recommended or is there a special wash for these guys?
