Had Toviah out for his biweekly drink of water and hug. (He's brumating and i miss him) when I put him back into his viv he made his way to the far cool end under the repti carpet. Crazy kids!

What a silly butt! I hope he wakes up soon. You have to be going crazy. I miss mine when I put them in their tank for the night, I would really miss them if they went to sleep :(

The breeder I got mine from warned us to be careful when we take him out in the sun. He said they tend to get pretty charged up and whacky and will sometimes even bite.

It's not the sunlight that makes them a bit wacky. Taking them outside, they are exposed to so many other things than they are used to. They are vulnerable outside so they are constantly aware of their surroundings. Outside they are aware that they are prey. It's good to take them out though on a nice sunny warm day because it does them good to get natural sunlight and fresh air. If you don't make any sudden moves towards them there shouldn't be a problem. If you have a beardie that tends to run away, it would be smart to get him/her a leash to wear while they are outside so you don't lose them.
