Depends on how big the silk worm is -- how old is the dragon? Silk worms are a good staple feeder --

My dragon’s 12 inches from head to tail. Not sure how that translates to age. The silk worms are approx. 1/2inches. Thanks

So it's hard to say how old--- dragons grow at different rates- do you stop at 6 or does he? Are you also feeding salads? Is he gaining weight and growing? Can you post a pic if him please

Silkworms are the best feeders for beardies followed by Dubia Roaches with the addition to them are you feeding veggies as well. What worked for me with my beardies is two hours after the lights come on I feed veggies and in the afternoon I would feed protein and then in the evening I would feed him another salad mixed with some bugs on top 2 hours before the lights go off.

According to the growth chart your baby is between 4-6 months old.

Hello, I feed her silk worms once a day about an hour after lights on. She’d probably eat more if I kept feeding her. I’ve been trying to get her to eat fruits and veggies for what seems like months now. When I first got her she was about six inches in length. Now she’s nearly 12 inches. She’s gotta big ol’ belly. Pic of her is below

The only thing I can get her to eat are silk worms, Phoenix worms, crickets. My landlord wont allow me to keep roaches. Yesterday I tried feeding him a raspberry, apple, blueberry salad and she wasn't responding. I’ll try a veggie mixture today.thanks

Take your phoenix worms and add them to the top of her salad -- do it in front of her so it draws her attention to the bowl - you will need a glass or ceramic bowl -- try that before adding the silk worms in the bowl - they stick to everything so she will get greens

Hello again, today I’ve tried feeding my dragon her daily serving of silkworms and Phoenix worms before feeding her the salad mixture and she turned her nose up at them. I’ve only had her for a few months and she’s never turn down live food before. Any opinions?thanks

Odd that shes turning down the silk worms-- BSFL or Phoenix worms I can see some dont like them like mine they wont eat them either --- its great shes eating salads but she does need the protein -- get her some crickets try those get a few at first and I would try dubia roaches -- you can get them from here www.dubiaroaches.com -- get the size no bigger than the space between her eyes length wise --- make sure your dusting the insects not the BSFL w/ calcium D3 5 x per week once per feeding and vitamins w/ beta carotene 2 x per week once per feeding --- its possible she is either tired of them or just plain does not like them -- it is trial and error they all have their taste

Actually she’s not feeding on salads. Didn't mean to make you think otherwise. Now is the time she feeds on crickets and she’s not eating them either. It’s strange that she’s stopped eating live food all together. Any ideas?

Ok well try the things I posted and see if you can get her to start eating both -- it sounds like shes either tired of crickets or just doesnt like them I would try the roaches and the BSFL see how that goes - my older one did not like crickets and that was what the breeder was feeding him when I got him- I switched him over to dubias as the vet recommeded and he went for them like crazy -- hes never had crickets again -- now my littlest one was started on dubias as a baby and never fed crickets and has never had crickets so I dont know if he would even eat them - I dont like them anyway to noisy too stinky and they are escape artist --- roaches are much easier

Try to sprinkle some bee pollen on the veggies, also try some collard greens, arugula, butternut squash and blueberries as a treat

Beardies will sometime get tired of eating the same thing and will become stubborn eaters have you tried BSFL if not try those. Good thing about BSFL is they don’t need calcium they are loaded with calcium. Also you can try hornworms once a week
