Hey everybody, so i brought a new dragon home from the show last weekend (Dexter) and he is 10 months old & hes the brother (same parents) as my 1st dragon Iggy.. Iggys the one that made me fall in love with beardies & i wanted another from the same breeder because hes awesome.. Iggy is a big boy & hes 1yr & 6 months old.. Iggy is without question the dominant male & i dont have him out when i have other dragons out. All of my other dragons wave to him when they are in sight of each other, & once they wave he seems to calm down. But I recently began trying to introduce them to each other to see if they can be civil & hang out together, only when supervised.. At first, they sat in the tub together for a few minutes & both were cool.. Then Iggy tried to run at Dexter & i separated them.. The next day i had them downstairs on my lap & again they were cool for a bout 3 minutes, then Iggy tried to leap at Dexter & i separated them. Today, i brought them both to hang out.. Iggy started to wave at Dexter.

I thought it was only a submissive thing. So once Dexter saw iggy wave, he starter to head bob really fast & iggy saw that & flipped out. He launched himself off the table (& he jumped far!) to try to get at Dexter who was on my lap. Which is what you see here
Then Dexter bobbed again & Iggy ran up my leg so fast to get at him so i put Iggy away..
So 2 questions. Why would Iggy wave at Dex if hes the family enforcer? And can 2 males learn to accept each other on neutral ground & hang out peacefully?
