Mine HATE when their mouth and head are shedding. Dexter currently has nose plugs going on and every time I touch one she shivers.

Don't think Rex to keen either keeps going mad scratching it to get it off lol I've been slightly misting him more plus he takes water that way if he wants a drink also he's being bathed twice a week to help him again he drinks if he wants, he's never once touched his water bowl.

Sorry different subject but I can gladly say I've managed to trick him to eatin some veg. We was told from the previous owner that he likes kayle red peppers orange peppers carrot etc so we got it for him, every day I change his veg for new fresh veg changing variations but he never touched it tried hiding morio worms in it he'd just wait till they crawl to the top then pounce the other day I put a mealworm on top he shot over grabbed the worm and got some carrot as I went to put another worm on he took it straight of the feeding tongues I picked some grated carrot up and bang he took it of the tongues

Yea you can trick them at times I do the same ..Be careful on how much carrot you feed as they are super high in Vit A which can lead to vit A toxicity.. If you haven't already take a look at the links by several members like myself signature lines, the general info has info on foods there are 2 links in there that most of us use as the food "bibles"
