She's Waving

We recently expanded our bearded dragon family, got two juveniles. Housed together currently until construction of their permanent enclosures are complete. My female has the habit of waving. She did it once in the feeding tank and again in her tank. The circle arm thing. Is she just waving at herself? The male hasn't shown any signs of dominating, he was napping when she did it, and she was looking straight out of the tank. Just funny, our three year old beardie never did that when he was younger, didn't even know it was a thing.

That's usually a submissive gesture, so maybe she is seeing her reflection or she is submitting to you... They are such interesting critters!

Lol this remind me of a funny story one time after I went to a story and I bought the tank for the dragon I was getting for Christmas. I saw a beardie waving at me I went to see the little guys and said aww how cute then I saw a uv light as I needed one then I turn around and saw a bunch of beardie waving at me ready to kill me I was like OH MY GOD THEY KNOW 0-0
