So, I just measured Khaleesi's length (I didn't even think to do it when I first got them unfortunately) But I can definitely say that she was much smaller. Well, she is 8 months old and measuring a whopping 18" long! Hermione is right about 12 inches and they're only two months apart. She's going to be a BIG girl!

I honestly couldn't believe it! The past few days I had been thinking "wow, it seems like she's really grown since we've had her! " We've only had them for a little over two weeks! I must be doing something right! LOL Do you by some chance know when they stop growing, or does it vary from dragon to dragon?

It varies from dragon to dragon. I think Dexter has hit her max she's been between 18 and 18.5 for the past year and she is 2 years and 3 months. The vet told me she is probably at her max now and she will probably stay around the same weight, gaining and loosing the same few grams. Luci is my wild card, he's been in constant shed for the last 2 months so hopefully this is his growth spurt.

It's real fun to have 2 dragons that are a year apart. They are completely different in everything. When Dexter was his age she had these massive thighs and giant head. He still has these little legs and head. He EATS like there is no tomorrow though, including his salad. Dexter may have one worm and no salad. Dexter also has this indent down her spine, I love running my finger down it. Where Luci doesn't have that, his whole back is completely rounded. His eyes are different too, almost like he's cross eyed. When you look at Dexter her eye is facing the side or even looking back. Luci is always looking forward like he's trying to see the tip of his nose! They are both such characters!
