She's becoming a dinosaur. She's just over 2.5 months old and is almost 12 inches long and weighs 3.3 oz. She hasn't stopped eating since I got her. She finally seemed to enjoy her bath tonight so I took a couple pictures. Her oranges are starting to really pop.

She's doing so well in her 20 gallon tank that I'm a little scared to move her into the big enclosure which is a lot bigger and three times higher. She will need to climb about 30 inches to get to the prime basking area. I do have reptile hammocks ordered for both sides which should make the climb easier.

Can you wait until the hammocks arrive to move Sheila?

I'm going to have to. I've been putting her in the new cage for an hour or so in the evening to get her used to it. She's been getting braver every day and tonight she zipped right up to the top so I grabbed the camera and took a quick picture. It's 26 inches from the ground from where she is in the picture. Suddenly she crouched down and I just knew she was going to jump so I grabbed her before she jumped at the glass. I don't know if she would have hurt herself but don't want to risk it so I need to somehow make some adjustments before moving her in permanently.Top of the perch in the second picture is 30 inches high.IMG_4306.JPG IMG_4307.JPG

Wow that is high!!!

eBay is usually pretty quick. With Monday being a holiday that has things a bit slower with the mail. So hopefully the hammocks will get here soon.

Man she is gorgeous! You like the citrus ones!

I bet you can wait until Wednesday!! [emoji4]

I don't know if I'm going to get him this week, it's supposed to be mid 90's here through Wednesday and they only ship Monday , Tuesday and rarely on Wednesday. I'll send her a message and see if she thinks it will be safe. I guess waiting another week wouldn't hurt and it's better to be safe. By then I know I'll be set.

I hear you on that! It is better to be safe than sorry with this heat!

Him staying another week will only get him stronger!

We paid $10.00 per 100 small and $15.00 per 100 large locally

For the 500 medium it was $50.00 plus $7.00 shipping from JFK Dragons.
