It can effect their appetite- your lighting uvb are you using a coil or tube ? Basking temps what are they and how are you taking them? How old is the dragon?

Ok, We have a 10.0 uvb tube lighting. Basking temp is around 95-105. We have a temp. gun. And he's 1 1/2.

The 10.0 tube is a T 5 or a T 8? And where in the tank is it? Top of screen or inside the tank ? I would recommend you pick up a digital probe thermometer from Petco or Petsmart -- sometimes heat guns are off because of certain materials used --

It's T8 and it's mounted inside the tank on. Ok I'll look for a digital probe and see what that reads.

Sounds good -- distance for your T 8 should be 6-8 inches from basking decor and NO cover over the bulb - it needs to be exposed -- ok so every thing sounds good - my guess its the shedding that doing the appetite thing - just keep offering him his food --- I had to rule the lighting and temps out first as far as appetite loss --
