so how long should a shed take for a young beardie, guessing around 6-8 weeks based on the size (7-8)". seems like his is taking a while(for all the shed to come off) and i have been soaking him either every or every other day. also how long does it take for them to spot being so jumpy, i hand him evey day but he still a bit skirmish.

Mine take 1-2 weeks for them to shed (once the skin has gone dull). Once they're done shedding, they should settle down and not be so skittish. One of my babies take shedding really well and her behaviour doesn't change, meanwhile my little boy gets his grumpy moments when he sheds.

Pogies attitude doesn't change during sheds except for a day of hiding and then going absolutely nuts as the skin starts to come off. To help I got a baby toothbrush which I use to gently scrub her while soaking. It helps to loosen the skin and remove the stubborn parts. Oh and she loves it a lot. Just start slow.

gently scrub
. . . . LOL, *thinking of Craigers OOPSIE a while back*
