Hi everyone!!!
Relate has already shed her body about a week ago but her tail has been white for five days and has no sign of it raising. I have given her bathes and tried to rub it but no luck. I bought this shed assistive and was wondering if it’s okay to use on a juvenile bearded dragon her tail?
Thanks!

Would you mind posting a picture of her tail. Many times beardie will often shed in sections and take breaks in between certain sheds. I know when mine was growing he would always shed his body first than his tail would follow after a bit. But if you’re concern that it’s stuck in shed then you can try using that. I’ve used it for my snake once when she had a bad shed and it worked wonders

My beardie has had tail sheds that look like that for a week or so and then eventually come off with no problems. I don’t think a week is long enough to worry or to intervene - I’m not sure if anyone with more experience would disagree with that?

Agreed. Sammys tail can take about a week to 2 weeks and always has. But eventually comes off when ready.

His tail looks to be ok and I wouldn’t be surprised if it sheds soon. With babies I always find that it’s helpful to give them baths daily when they are going through their shedding periods. Don’t be too worried if the repti-shed doesn’t work. I find that beardies have a habit of retaining their shed for a bit and like to shed when it pleases them. Beardies can be such picky creatures sometimes. Also to @Skybug I found the ingredients list if you’d still like to see it

Should I reapply it or just let nature do it’s job? Sorry I’m new to bearded dragons.
No worries luv. Let nature do it’s course, just give him a 10 minute bath everyday or every other day during his shedding period while their babies and just make sure the water doesn’t go above his bellies. Baby beardies aren’t the greatest swimmers and are more prone to drowning than adult beardies

You only really need to help with shed on tail tips, toes , eyes (be carful Around eyes they shake their heads) , nose and ears, they do a pretty good job getting it off themselves, make shure you have rocks in ur tank so he can rub against (or a brick) , it’s important to have as many textures as you can get,
