Separation of our beardies

Hey guys I am new to the site and had some concerns about our beardies. We have a male and female dragon that were housed together with no problems for a few years. Were didn't want our female to continue laying infertile clutches due to the fact our male is much smaller and can't get the job done in a sense. We have put the male in a separate enclosure and knew he would go through new habitat anxiety which he has calmed down and is OK with it now.
Our concern is that he has hardly been eating since we moved him 3 months ago and has been loosing weight. He was eating plenty when the two were housed together. Should we place them into the same cage again or what would people suggest, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

He should have rebounded by now, relocation stress is usually a week..with him loosing weight and not being interested in food I would almost recommend a vet visit to rule out what you can't see. You may need to syringe feed him to get him going again.

Yes, he should have gotten over it by now. It's possible that he has a parasite or something, I would get a fecal done. What is his lighting like? Are his temps correct and what are you measuring them with? Sometimes if the basking spot isn't the proper temperature they won't eat because they can't digest their food.

I would not put them back together. Even though he is smaller he will try to mate with her. My male was always smaller than my female and that doesn't stop him from trying.
