Scratching while shedding

Is this normal? Dex is going through his second shed (it seems to be going better and faster than his first) but I noticed this time he scratches like a dog sometimes. Not a lot, but almost like he's annoyed by the flakes. Sometimes it's with his hind legs towards his head and sometimes its with his front legs around his face and chest. He's also rubbing on his log and rock a lot. He didn't do this during his first shed. I did check for mites and any other little bugs in his tank and didn't see anything so I'm wondering if this is normal or it mites I'm not seeing or something else.?.? Thanks

He is itchy- spray him and take a soft baby tooth brush and gently brush him it will loosen the shed and scratch him at the same time

i have seen my baby beardie scratch herself during shedding and i think it’s normal just because it’s irritating
Phew thanks. I wasn't sure. I do give him baths more often when he's shedding and I have used a soft toothbrush to help it along. Especially on his tail. He seemed a tad bit more bothered by it this time rather than the first. Maybe because he's bigger and there's was more shed. lol
