Hey has anyone had a scared bearded dragon before??? Before I go to bed I make sure my lizard tanks are a right temperature so when I checked I saw my oldest beardie hammock kinda came loose so I turned on one light to see and reattached his hammock so his tank sits on some custom shelves just for my beardies and right above my heard are spare lights hanging on hooks and when I close his cage it shakes alittle and moved his lights no big deal nothing new well I went to adjust him and he bolted across his cage and I don't mean like a light run he took off as fast as he could and ran into the side of the tank so I panicked thinking he hurt himself with how hard he hit so I took him out (was not the best move) so when I did take him out his color went darker and his beard went black and he just stared at the lights hanging so I gently put him back in his cage and he ran again and hit the wall so I just turned the lights off to let him calm down and he started to go back to his normal color. Has anyone else had any other there dragons do this? This is a first to me since he didnt seem to care about the hanging lights before

Not sure something spooked him --- when you did this were the lights on or off?

Yeah his black beard has gone away and his color seems to have gone back to normal as well I guess the spare bulbs I have moving scared him pretty good but I don't know who was more scared him or me cause he has never bolted like that
